ABOUT
Don, Ross, Larry
and Michael Spratt, along with their wives and
families, own and operate Donaro Farms. Don and Ross’ father,
Ernest Spratt, started the farm from the ground up in 1936, near
Melfort, SK. Don and Ross eventually took over and their own sons,
Larry and Michael, became the 3rd generation partners after they
completed university.
Donaro Farms now spreads over 8500 acres, 5000 of grain and 3500
of hay/pasture. They produce top quality purebred cattle and run
a back grounding feedlot.
Throughout the year both Larry and Michael attend conferences,
workshops, trade and stock shows throughout Canada and the United
States. They incorporate any applicable information, technology
or genetics that they can into their farm.
